We are looking for a Vehicle Inspector to join our client's fleet control department team. The selected candidate will be reporting directly to the Fleet Controller. As a Vehicle Inspector, you will be carrying out accurate inspections on vehicles as per rental contracts and company standards. You will work with a team on-site to ensure targets are met, all vehicles requiring inspection are completed, and all inspection data is uploaded to the company’s system.
 
ABOUT OUR CLIENT:
Our client is Malta's largest importer and supplier in the automotive industry and is located in Marsa.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Preparation of vehicles list booked for rental or replacement
  • Ensuring check sheets / Record 360 are filled in accurately. All vehicles are to be checked for damage, fuel, water and oil levels
  • Inspecting vehicles, together with clients before the vehicle is taken and on return
  • Communicate with clients when there are any new damages caused to the vehicles, missing fuel, equipment etc
  • Communicating with the fleet controller regarding any repairs required of vehicles
  • Recording and keeping the company software system up to date
  • Parking vehicles in designated areas and according to their allocated parking location
  • Actively participating in the continual improvement of working practices and quality procedures
  • Undergoes any training required by the company
  • Any other duties which may be assigned by management.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
  • Experience in similar roles will be considered as an asset
  • Fluent in the Maltese and English language
  • Posses a valid driving license
  • Customer oriented
  • Computer literate
  • Team player
  • Be highly organised.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
A level of education.
 
WORKING TIME
  • Monday through Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, 40 hours per week
  • Overtime is expected on alternate Saturdays.
