As part of the pre-opening team, the Security Supervisor will be tasked to oversee the daily workflow, schedules and assignments of the Security Officers.
Core Responsabilities:
Supervise daily workflow, schedules, activities and assignments of security staff
Maintain daily records of security-related instances that take place on-site
Support in leading emergency response drills
Conduct inspections for physical and safety hazards
Monitor alarm systems and other security equipment
Prepare and conduct training for new hires and current staff
Assist in developing and implementing safety and security protocols
Perform regular walk-throughs and security inspections of the property
Serve as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders
Performs other duties as required
Requirements:
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of three years of prior experience or policing experience
Ability to act quickly, calmly, and appropriately in emergency situations
Good command of both written and spoken English
Strong customer service skills and a positive can-do attitude
Hold a valid Security Private Guard license
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
Active listening skills
Ability to work independently and with a team
Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
